After a year’s absence the Company was privileged to return to the Mansion House for its Annual Banquet on Friday 29 October.   Despite the lingering pandemic and a demonstration by climate change protestors outside the Bank of England, an excellent evening was enjoyed by all who attended – indeed the highest number of diners for a number of years.

The Master had invited Mr Malcolm Brinded CBE FREng, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Engineering UK and recently President of the Energy Institute, as the Principal Guest.  He made a thought provoking speech on behalf of the guests; who also included representative Lord Mayor, Alderman Sir Charles Bowman, Alderman and Sheriff Alison Gowman, 15 Livery Masters and their Consorts.
