The Engineers Trust supports IET’s Future Talent Awards include Launch Scholarships that now replace the Engineering Horizons Bursaries. The scholarships are for £1,500 per year for the duration of the degree or apprenticeship of up to 4 years.  In addition to financial support, the Engineers Company provides each Scholar with a member of the Company as a Mentor.  The Engineers Trust has supported 6 Launch Scholarships in the second year of operation.

The 2024/5 Launch Scholars are:

Stephen Campbell who is a degree apprentice studying electrical engineering at the University of Ulster.

Nathan Curran who is a degree apprentice studying for a BEng in electrical and electronic engineering at Furness College.

Gauri Morjaria who is studying for a MEng in mechanical engineering at the University of Warwick.

Sita Morjaria who is studying for a MEng in mechanical engineering at the University of Warwick.

Ryan O’Hanlan who is a degree apprentice studying electrical and electronic engineering at the University of Ulster.

Radyah Rahman who is studying for a MEng in biomedical engineering at Imperial College London.
