On Tuesday 29 April 2025 the Company held its Annual General Meeting (also known as Common Hall) at Butchers’ Hall. Having been elected in February, Eur Ing Penny B Taylor JP was installed as the 42nd Master Engineer. Penny’s theme for her year ahead is ‘Fellowship, Future Engineers and Fun.’

Prof Andrew McNaughton FREng was installed as the new Senior Warden, Eur Ing Brian Back as the new Middle Warden and Eur Ing Prof David Cooper MBE as the new Junior Warden.

Sue Threader was elected and installed as a new Court Assistant.

At the Installation Dinner, following the AGM, members and guests were entertained by not one but two speakers: Caroline Hamilton MBE, Chief Executive of SAFed, and Nishika Chettry, a Software Engineer at Renesas Electronics.
