About us
The main objects of the Trust, as laid out in the Trust Deed dated 4th July 1984, are the advancement of education in the engineering profession and the relief of poverty generally and in particular the profession of engineering.
The Worshipful Company of Engineers Charitable Trust Fund is a Charity Registered No: 289819 and administered in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Charity Commission.
The Trust Deed requires that there shall be 4 Trustees, the longest serving of which must retire annually. The Court of the Worshipful Company of Engineers has the power to appoint the four Trustees and has determined that the four Trustees shall be The Master of The Company and the three Past Masters who are Members of Court, who have most recently served in the office of Master. There are no external parties who can appoint Trustees.
The Annual Accounts of The Worshipful Company of Engineers Charitable Trust Fund can be obtained from The Clerk to the Trustees (The Clerk of the Worshipful Company of Engineers, Wax Chandlers’ Hall, 6 Gresham Street, London EC2V 7AD) or from The Charity Commission.
The Trust Fund gives Awards, Prizes and Charitable Grants from its resources.
