Benefits of membership

There are many benefits that can ensue to Engineers as well as to the City of London by virtue of the Grant of Livery to the Company of Engineers and in particular:

  • A direct link with the City.
  • The enhancement of the recognition of the Engineer by one of the oldest and substantive Civil Authorities in the land.
  • The encouragement and improvement of understanding between the City and the Engineering profession.
  • The very recognition of the Engineer can only do good to the standing of the engineering profession.
  • The other objectives are traditional covering: charitable activities, education and training to encourage communication between those who practice in engineering and those who benefit from the professional output.
