The Worshipful Company of Engineers
(Incorporated by Royal Charter 2004)

What we do

Awards and Prizes

The Trust Fund gives annual awards and prizes to support and encourage excellence amongst qualified engineers and those training to be Chartered Engineers, Incorporated Engineers and engineering Technicians.

Annual Civilian and Service Awards and Prizes are generally made to a timeframe to suit the Engineers’ Company Annual Awards Dinner in the City of London in July of each year. Applications (where applicable) are called for in the early part of the year for decisions by mid June at the latest. Each individual award is run by an individual Engineers’ Company Awards Co-ordinator who is responsible for managing the Awards and offering application forms (where available and necessary these are cross referenced to the list of civilian awards below). Co-ordinators can be contacted through the Engineers’ Company Offices. Applications are not invited for the Services awards and prizes as these are made by nominations from the individual Services under arrangements directly with the MOD.

The winner of each Award will receive the Prize (if applicable), an engraved Medal from the Company, with a certificate of achievement and be invited to dine and receive the awards publicly at the Annual Awards Dinner.
