At the RAF Club last night Liveryman Tony Edwards delivered an outstanding lecture, the annual Cobham Lecture sponsored by The Honorable Company of Air Pilots, on R J Mitchell and the Battle of Britain.

Over the last thirty years Tony has assembled a portfolio of material which captures the genius of R J Mitchell in the design of the Spitfire.  Thanks to Tony’s work the huge contribution of R J Mitchell to the nation is now recognised.
