On Oct 24th the Worshipful Company of Engineers held their Annual Banquet at the Mansion House.

We were fortunate to have the Lord Mayor and both Sherriffs along with their consorts, present. Speeches were given by Baroness Brown of Cambridge, who alerted us to actions we should be taking to cope with the inevitable increase in temperatures and changes to the climate and Molly Fraser, an early career engineer, who asked that those of us ewith expereince share our knowledge with those starting out on their careers. She likened herself to a sponge, soaking up all the valuable insights she could get along the way.

We were entertained by the RMA Ensemble who played a duelling Post Horn Gallop from the Musician’s Gallery.
