Rucha Agashe is studying Electronic & Information Engineering at Imperial College London.

Jet Thomas is studying Robotics Engineering MEng at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Ellis Stanton is a Jaguar Land Rover degree apprentice studying Digital Technical Solutions at the University of Warwick.

Charlie Loryman is studying Electrical Engineering at Brunel University of London.

The IET’s Future Talent Awards include Launch Scholarships that replaced the Engineering Horizons Bursaries. The scholarships are aimed at students or apprentices who face challenges or personal obstacles and are UK residents. The scholarships are for £1,500 per year for the duration of the degree or apprenticeship of up to 4 years.  In addition to financial support, the Engineers Company provides each Scholar with a member of the Company as a Mentor.  The Engineers Trust has supported Horizon Bursaries and now Launch Scholarships since 2016.

The Worshipful Company of Engineers Charitable Trust (the Engineers Trust) promotes the contributions of engineers to benefit society, education and research, and the relief of hardship and poverty.
