Engineering Impact Award 2027
The Engineers Trust trustees believe that using engineering solutions can greatly enhance the value that specific charitable grants can add and now wish to fund engineering-led projects which contribute to one of our key objectives – the relief of poverty. This will be through a one-off competed grant from the Trust Fund of up to £5,000; in exceptional circumstances the Trustees may consider a runner up award. The Trust may consider multi-year grants in future years. The Trustees are particularly keen to see the grant applied to a specific project (can be a specific part of a larger project) or programme of work where the timeline and measurable outcomes are clearly defined. Funding must be applied to the project identified in the application and the receiving organisation is expected to provide regular reports detailing the project progress and impact on those receiving their support. Further support will be subject to a successful outcome of this work
Note: If you would like to apply this year, please submit an expression of interest by 21 November 2026 for the charity by emailing outreach.grant@engineerscompany.org.uk with the name of the charity, a contact name for the charity and email address for them so an application form for the award can be sent.
