The Worshipful Company of Engineers and the Engineers Trust are seeking applications for the Hawley Award.

It is awarded annually for the most outstanding Engineering Innovation that delivers a demonstrable benefit to the environment, specifically helping to achieve Net Zero Carbon by at least 2050.

It targets UK-based early-career engineers and scientists, focusing on their graduate or post-doctoral work. The work should have progressed beyond theory and simulations, demonstrating a prototype and proof of concept.

The prize includes £5000 for the winner, which can be used for personal development.
